Cybil Unrest Burlesque Classes & Workshops — Terms, Conditions & Liability Waiver

By completing this purchase and/or participating in a Cybil Unrest burlesque class, workshop, event, or instructional offering, I acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

I understand that Cybil Unrest burlesque classes and workshops may include light dance movement, stretching, posing, confidence and performance exercises, stage presence work, sensual movement, clothing reveals, removal of outer layers, prop work, chair work, floorwork, and other creative embodiment practices. I understand that all activities are optional and that I am responsible for participating at a level that feels safe and appropriate for my own body, comfort, and ability.

I understand that burlesque is a creative performance art form that may involve themes of sensuality, self-expression, body confidence, visibility, humor, glamour, and personal empowerment. I agree to participate with respect, consent, maturity, and care for myself, the instructor, the space, and all other participants.

I understand that physical movement, even light movement, carries inherent risks, including but not limited to muscle soreness, strain, dizziness, slips, falls, injury, emotional discomfort, or activation around body image, visibility, performance, or self-expression. I acknowledge that I am voluntarily choosing to participate and I assume responsibility for any risks associated with my participation.

I confirm that I am physically and emotionally able to participate in this class or workshop. I understand that I am responsible for consulting with a medical or mental health professional before participating if I have any health condition, injury, limitation, trauma history, pregnancy, recent surgery, or concern that may affect my ability to safely participate.

I understand that I may modify, pause, or opt out of any movement, reveal, exercise, prompt, or activity at any time. I understand that I am never required to reveal clothing, perform, dance, share personal information, or participate beyond my own comfort level.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Cybil Unrest, Heather Elizabeth Bewsee, Truth or Dare Productions, any assisting instructors, guest teachers, venues, hosts, and affiliates from liability for injuries, damages, losses, or claims arising out of my voluntary participation in the class, workshop, or related activity, except where such claims cannot legally be waived.

I understand that all purchases are final and non-refundable. If I am unable to attend, I understand that refunds are not guaranteed and that transfers, credits, or make-up options, if any, are offered solely at the discretion of Cybil Unrest / Truth or Dare Productions.

I understand that all class materials, choreography prompts, teachings, exercises, creative processes, written materials, recordings, and instructional content are the intellectual property of Cybil Unrest / Heather Elizabeth Bewsee unless otherwise stated. I agree not to copy, reproduce, teach, distribute, record, sell, or share these materials without written permission.

I agree to respect the privacy and creative process of all participants. I will not photograph, film, post, or share images or videos of other participants without their clear consent. I understand that confidentiality, consent, and respect are essential to maintaining a safe and empowering class environment.

I agree not to engage in harassment, discrimination, body shaming, unwanted touch, sexual misconduct, bullying, or behavior that disrupts the safety of the space. I understand that Cybil Unrest / Truth or Dare Productions reserves the right to remove any participant from class or workshop without refund if their behavior is unsafe, disrespectful, or out of alignment with the community agreement.
